Some terrain for my table.

So I had to take a bit of a break from painting. Seeing as I made my own folding table (I'll post this later) I needed some terrain. I started making some scatter terrain while watching tv/films. and it escalated quickly into building a big house and I'll probably make even more now.

so no more babbling on here are the pics:

None of this is finished yet.

MORE!!!!!! Neverborn

So while I was taking photos of my newly painted stuff I thought I would actually set up a little studio and use my decent camera. Seeing as I already had this all setup I figured I would snap some shots of the Neverborn that I've already painted.

Basically this is just going to be a gallery post but I hope there's something for you to look at and feel free to comment with any questions.

Enjoy the pics.

Update on painting and more photos (soon)

Ok so I've managed to finish my mature Nephilim. I'll probably add some more blood on him (some splatter effects) to make it look a little better.

Also seeing as I had finished a few more models I set up a little impromptu photo studio and took some good(ish) photos of my other neverborn that I have painted up.

First heres the matues nephilim all finished and looking nice and shiny:

He took me a quite a while to paint, it didn't help that I kept stopping to play Blood Bowl on my computer.

I airbrushed his skin mostly including the highlights. Finishing them off with a brush to give the stretched muscle look. He has about 3 washes in the shadows of his skin as I did one using vallejo skin wash, which left like a dried powder where I had put alot. I fixed this by using GW leviathan purple wash over it.

Hope you like him.

The other photos will be following soon. I didnt want to cram everything into one post.

DIY Custom Dice

These are some dice that I made using a method that i discovered on the internet. Here,s how they turned out:

Now how to make them:

1) Print off your design onto ink jet photo paper using a laser printer.
2) gently sand your dice with extra fine sand paper.
3) Cut out your designs and place them on the face you want them to be.
4) press an Iron onto the transfer for 10 seconds, lift for 4 seconds and press again for 5 seconds. (times may differ, experiment to see what works better for you.
5) put your dice in a jug of water for about 5-10 mins (until you can rub off the paper).
6) Remove the Dice from the water and rub the paper off, Rub fairly hard cos if you image comes off from rubbing it wont survive being used.
7) Repeat for all sides on all your dice.
